Deciding what eyeshadow to apply on a bride, believe it or not could be a little the tedious……..
FYI:
A year today, my sister got married(Congrats Mr. & Mrs Onijala,may you celebrate many more in Jesus name, Amen), so who did her makeup, of course i did despite my stage in pregnancy…Well so i decided to do my makeup before doing hers, while she got her hair done and so i could get it out the way. After i was done and my sister saw the result , she said i want what you have after we had already done a consultation and decided on what look she was getting( well i guess since she is my sister, she can do that,lol). So since i did a purple look , we decided to do a pink look for her since that was one of her wedding colors, including purple anyways;
Well here is the result
So do you know that since then, each time i am called concerning wedding make up, every bride refers to her look( the “Pink look” i call it). Its amazing because i wonder to myself will I ever get the opportunity to try other colors on my brides? Well, as a professional at what you do, you alway want to satisfy your client(despite your professtional advice); if the pink look is what they want, pink look is what they get. So in case you have been wondering, “Does she have any other eyeshadow, or rather, is that all she knows how to do”? The answer is YES i have other shadows and know how to apply other colors, as long as you allow me.
With all that said, I don’t blame brides for wanting pink on their wedding day , it is considered a color of feminity and over the years has been looked upon as “princess like”.
Mrs Smith called me about 2 months before her wedding day inquiring for a Makeup job; I must say i was so thrilled when she told me her husband found me on the internet and commanded her attention to view my work. Its amazing cause when you see love you know it…her husband few doors away from her hotel room found every reason on occasions just to see his bride before she was set and ready to be his wife. Trish was such a calm easy to work with bride who after the wedding day, she sent me a personal and special message thanking me for what a beautiful job i did. To Mr. and Mrs Smith, I wish you all the best in your marriage , and may God almighty bless you both abundantly…..
Shout out to Gene Essel for a beautiful photography and well captured event……
So I had The pleasure of working with Anita and i must say was it a breeze……Anita was such a, soft, gentle, easy going bride. From our first encounter over the phone, she assured me that she wouldn’t be needing any consultation because she was sure of my work; but thanks be to God that GlamrousGlo was able to meet her expectation.
Anita, once again, thanks for allowing GlamrousGlo meet your needs on your special day. Congratulations and may God bless your union!!!!!!!!
